SALSA SCHEDULE

Intro to Salsa - Level 1

Intro Salsa Level 1 is perfect for absolute beginners ready to step into the world of salsa. In this welcoming class, you’ll learn the timing, basic steps, and simple turn patterns of New York Style Salsa On2. We’ll also introduce partner connection, rhythm, and movement so you can feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor. No partner or experience needed.

Salsa Beginner - Level 1.5

Salsa Beginner 1.5 is a transitional level designed to bridge the gap between Intro to Salsa (Level 1) and Salsa Beginner 2. In this slower-paced class, students continue strengthening their fundamental technique while building confidence in timing, partner connection, and basic footwork. We introduce more turns combinations, expand on core patterns, and reinforce essential skills to ensure a smooth progression. Students are encouraged to remain in this level for about 2–4 months (2–4 four-week cycles), depending on their comfort and readiness to move on to Level 2.

Salsa Beginner - Level 2

Salsa Level 2 is ideal for students who have completed Level 1 and 1.5 and feel confident with the basics. This class focuses on refining technique, partner connection, and musical timing. You’ll learn new turn combinations, traveling turns, and foundational footwork variations. The goal is to help you feel more comfortable and fluid on the dance floor while strengthening your understanding of New York Style Salsa On2.

Salsa Advanced Beginner - Level 3

Level 3 is designed for advanced beginners who are comfortable with their basics and want to take things further. You’ll explore multi-turn patterns, sharper footwork, styling, and body movement, all within New York Style Salsa On2. This class bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate, helping you build control and musicality in social dancing.

Salsa Intermediate - Level 4

This class is for experienced dancers with a solid foundation in Salsa On2. You’ll learn intricate turn patterns, advanced footwork, musical interpretation, and deeper partnerwork technique. The focus is on fluid movement, styling, and dancing confidently with a variety of partners in social settings.

BACHATA SCHEDULE

Intro to Bachata - Level 1

Intro Bachata is perfect for beginners curious about this smooth and romantic Latin dance. You’ll learn the basic steps, timing, and connection needed to start dancing confidently with a partner. The class covers rhythm, turns, and lead-follow skills in a fun and relaxed environment. No partner or experience necessary.

Bachata - Level 2 & 3

Bachata Level 2 & 3 is ideal for dancers who have completed at least two Intro to Bachata cycles and feel confident in their foundational skills. This class blends technique, body movement, and more complex patterns to help you grow as a dancer. You’ll continue developing partner connection, explore musicality, and incorporate styling elements, all in a supportive, progressive environment designed to challenge and inspire.
